Virtual Public Meeting Application Doubles Participation for Mon-Oakland Mobility Project.
The Challenge:
Provide an online Public Meeting experience that provides the same opportunities for the public to engage, provide input, and gather information.
How We Helped:
We created a custom web application to provide information related to the Mon-Oakland Mobility Project. The application replicated the familiar station format of in-person meetings while leveraging technology to advance what our client could accomplish virtually. The app provided an intuitive method for users to navigate the information, participate in a live meeting, provide digital comments, and connect with project team representatives. Our team incorporated measures to ensure the content was accessible for all users. The Mon-Oakland Virtual Public Meeting application successfully doubled previous in-person meeting participation.
