NJDOT Local Aid Resource Center Creates Website as the Centerpiece of the Organization's Mission.

The Challenge:

Create a new, engaging, and user-friendly website aimed at providing transportation programming and planning resources and tools to a diverse audience of 21 counties and 564 local governments throughout New Jersey.

How We Helped:

An in-depth assessment was initiated during the Discovery Phase to identify the information needs and understand the communication pain points and deficiencies key audiences experience related to the project delivery process and grant applications. Based on the assessment, existing subject matter content was streamlined and organized, Resource Center branding was developed, educational infographics were created, and engaging videos were produced. The design included features conveying detailed information on the availability of State and Federal grant programs, the latest news, forms, a deadline calendar, and more. An extensive training section was also included with instructional videos and interactive GIS maps. The website complements a phone hotline designed to answer specific questions and a robust social media and email marketing strategy to push key information.
