SEPTA Crum Creek Viaduct Replacement Renderings

SEPTA presents a new vision for the 121-year-old Crum Creek Viaduct.

The Challenge:

Provide detailed and accurate renderings to show the public the replacement structure featuring the new Silverliner V train.

How We Helped:

In response to SEPTA's request for a visualization of the proposed replacement of a 121-year-old structure featuring the new Silverliner V train, we successfully addressed the challenge by creating a comprehensive 3D environment. This encompassed the new fully textured bridge, pedestrian shared-use path and tunnel, and even included the depiction of Crum Creek below. To enhance the visualization, we obtained a 3D model of the new Silverliner V train from SEPTA-affiliated IHP Hobby Inc. We then optimized the 3D train model for rendering and applied SEPTA’s logo and colors for a more customized depiction. These renderings, showcasing the proposed replacement, were prominently featured during the public involvement process. To showcase our capabilities, an in-house developed animation was produced, demonstrating the project in action.
